Alm Farm
Alm Gard is an organic farm located in the small village of Feios. The farm produces ice cream, honey and jam, and we have cows, horses, bees and chickens. We have accommodation in a comfortable old schoolhouse, and on a small farm. We also have B&B. We offer guided tours on foot and on horseback.
Alm Gard is run by Guus Morel and Laurien Geerse. We moved from the Netherlands to Norway in November 2004. At Alm Gard we make ice cream from our own milk and fruit. We grow raspberries that are used in the ice cream. We pick cloudberries and blueberries in the mountains. We have 10 beehives on the farm and have our own honey. We have been operating organically since August 2007. There are all kinds of farm products on the farm, including yogurt, beef, milk, jam, juice and cheese. Products can be purchased on the farm for those staying overnight here.
On the farm we have Telemark cattle (9) that are milked by hand. We milk once a day and calves drink from their mothers. On the farm there are opportunities for green care. It is also possible to have a viewing and lunch on the farm.
Accommodation in a comfortable old schoolhouse that was restored in 2007, and on a small farm with a great view of Brekkefossen. We also offer a Bed & Breakfast room on the farm, with a double room and private bathroom. Breakfast with farm products.
