In the restaurant we are open for lunch and dinner. Very traditional, usually with ingredients that originate from our own farm. That is why there is a lot of meat; grass-fed, outdoor, Lofoten lamb, highland cattle and outdoor pigs. Nevertheless, we always have a vegetarian option on the menu and very often also a fish dish. In the picture there is a vegetable soup served in handmade ceramics from Rokkvika Porselensfabrikk. Burgers with homemade bread, halloumi or highland cattle are a regular feature. We are also very proud to collaborate with award-winning cheese producers in Lofoten and always offer a taste of the cheeses you can find in our area. If you just want to enjoy the view with a glass of bubbles, you are most welcome to do so. In addition, we carry a varied selection of local food from other small producers in our area. If you need gifts or just want to taste Lofoten, you are welcome to visit us.

Highland cattle! <3 These beautiful animals with long fur and horns. Originally from the Scottish Highlands, but because they have a two-part coat with undercoat and long guard hairs, they fit very well into the somewhat harsh climate of Lofoten. We have about 45 animals on the farm, and targeted grazing is very important to us. We do not feed concentrates, but give some bread to socialize the animals and make it easy to work with them. The calves live with the cows and receive both a long period of milk in addition to early intake of roughage because they copy their mothers out on the pasture. The animals go outside all year round, but have access to shelter between October and May. The slaughter season is throughout the year, and you get Highland cattle both in the restaurant and in the sales area. We offer the best treats in our subscription scheme where you as a customer receive a package of different types of meat every month.

Welcome to Aimee's Farm! A small family farm where regenerative farming, outdoor activities and targeted grazing are at the heart of everything we do. We have a small restaurant at Vikjord by the E10 in Valberg and sell products from the farm directly from the outlet, or at the Farmer's Market and the reko-ring.

Aimee's Farm is a small farm with grass-fed Scottish Highland cattle, Lofoten lamb and pigs on open pasture. We place great value on grazing and open pasture, and this is in many ways a guiding star for our operations. The meat we supply is of very high eating quality; it is tender with good flavour and has good fatty acid compositions. The meat of free-range pigs, and especially Hungarian mangalitsa, is darker in colour than that usually found in pork, and has a very unique flavour. The lambs are well within the criteria for Lofoten lamb, which is a quality that speaks for itself. The sheep are kept in steep mountains where the summer light never sets. When the snow is shed, there is often snow left in the mountains. The sheep graze their way up, and as the snow melts and new grass and herbs sprout, this pasture is used for the seasonal Lofoten lamb. Because the sea spray is inland during the worst storms, the meat is also pre-salted; completely salted by nature.

With such a starting point, it doesn't take much to create unforgettable meals in the restaurant. We have organic potatoes and vegetables on the farm that often accompany the main ingredient, and often focus on unprocessed ingredients, clean and good flavors based on what grows in season or that we have taken care of throughout the year.

The most important thing to us when you visit us for a better meal is the story of the ingredients on your plate. We are happy to tell you about the local cheese factories, the honey producers we collaborate with or give you the latest news from the farm. Eating with us should be an experience and we look forward to having you visit.
