Åkrafjordtunet is a fjord culture center just off the E 134 with a shop, café, accommodation and tourist information. Here you will find a slightly "different" shop where you can do a slightly "different" shopping. In 2011, the shop was voted the best grocery store in Norway. In addition to the usual groceries, you will find a wealth of quality products from over 20 selected local producers. In our café with space for over 120 people, homemade dinners based on recipes and local ingredients are served every day throughout the year. "Those who are interested in Western Norway's culinary experiences have no other choice but to visit Åkrafjordtunet." Taken from Veier til Vestlandsmaten by Erling T. Gjelsvik

Åkrafjordtunet has a slightly "different" shop where you can do a slightly "different" shopping. In addition to the usual grocery items, you will find a wealth of quality products here, not least meat and sausages from Johs. Lundal & Sønner. Lundal's production of cured meats and home-smoked meats is located nearby, and part of the shop functions as their factory outlet. In 1998, Johs. Lundal & Sønner was voted Norway's best cured meat producer. Goat tenderloin, goat meat, duck breast, venison, pinna meat, homemade pork chops, lefse and flatbread are just some of the specialties we can tempt our visitors with.

From the restaurant's many windows you can enjoy the view of the fjord and mountains while enjoying a genuine homemade dinner. Åkrafjorden is widely known for its food traditions and our cafeteria is renowned for its good cuisine. Most of our dishes are based on local products. If there is something you like, please ask. There is a great "chance" that you can buy these dinner products from our award-winning shop. The restaurant is also widely used as a party venue for large and small groups. Feel free to visit us at www.akrafjordtunet.no or try our online shop www.spekehuset.no or simply come by.

You are welcome anyway!
