At Grønset, gray stone walls has been transformed into golden farm glam. In old and venerable buildings, the hosts Helga and Mark will personally welcome you: As a guests at our farm hotel or for a big barn wedding. With a warm blanket and a cup of hot chocolate on a crisp autumn evening, or pop in for our special farm pizza at the Summer Café. We offer sparkling celebrations with locally produced food, and we can also facilitate for a business come-together. "Opttrinn" is a brand new experience concept; which contains a highly unpredictable business dinner where various "professionals" causes headaches for the hosts. Located in the middle of the rich food region of Nordmøre and Trøndelag, we use mostly locally produced ingredients, and we combine flavors according to our own imagination and creativity. With us, you can buy local products in the farm shop and experience the hostess letting loose behind the microphone. Feel free to combine a visit to us with a trip to the climbing park at Valsøya, the Geitbåtmuseet at Enge or an alpaca walk at Oddan Alpakka or Opplev Auna. From Grønset you have a good starting point for beautiful and non-crowded mountain walks. Enjoy your lunch break outside our old mountain croft by Oppsalvatnet/Grønsetsetervatnet, or get the wood fire stove in the restored Høybua by Skittenholsvatnet going. Make your own "matpakke" at breakfast, put on your good walking shoes and go. We have fantastic hiking destinations around us, including the tourist cabin Sollia, which is part of FjordRuta. When the day is over, you can sleep softly in one of our six unique bedrooms. All bedrooms have a double bed, and if there is a need for more beds, we have a good collaboration with our colleagues at Valsøya and Hotell Koselig, about 20 minutes from Grønset. Welcome!
