At the foot of the Okstindan mountains in Hemnes Municipality, you will find Inderdalen Farm, a treasure chest of a mountain farm from the 17th century. In the middle of the courtyard, surrounded by beautiful flower meadows, we offer accommodation in a small log cabin. Inside, you can relax in a comfortable bed and enjoy the tranquility in homely surroundings, reminiscent of an old grandmother's house. Here, you also get the experience of being in magnificent nature; you can either follow a marked trail or simply take a leisurely stroll around the farm. In Inderdalen, you get up close to nature, tranquility, the farm's cultural heritage, and traditions.

The farm, now owned by the 8th generation since the 1700s, has received a lot of attention. True to tradition, the mountain people have always been welcome; old trails have been cleared and re-marked. The farm is maintained with love and diligence and appears very complete and authentic, often attracting admiration and curiosity.

In 2019, Inderdalen Farm received the Cultural Landscape Award for Nordland, presented by the State Administration. We received the award for our commitment to preserving and conveying the history of the old mountain farm and the cultural landscape it is a part of.

**ACCOMMODATION IN THE GUEST HOUSE**

We rent out an old house called "Gjestestua" (The Guest House). This house has recently been restored to its original condition, and considerable time and resources have been spent to create an authentic atmosphere.

Here, you can enjoy modern comfort with electricity and running water (cold water only).

On the ground floor, you will find a cozy but simple kitchenette with a hot plate and a refrigerator. The living room also has a sofa and comfortable chairs for relaxation and rest.

On the second floor, there are 4 made-up beds, a very comfortable double bed, and two authentic beds with good comfort. The hallway on the second floor offers activities whether you enjoy puzzles, reading, or knitting.

**SERVICE BUILDING**

Whether you are staying overnight at Inderdalen Farm or you are just a simple hiker who wants to take a shower or use the toilet, there is a service building available for all who wish to use it. The service building has two showers and two toilet rooms, one of which is universally accessible. If you are a guest at Inderdalen Farm, you can use a private bathroom in the service building.
