Skjolden Sideri is located in the middle of Skjolden, at the end of the Sognefjord, on top of the ridge where you have a view of the fjord and inland Mørkridsdalen and Fortunsdalen. Here we have our orchard, which has been called the Garden of Eden since the turn of the century, when the Juice King in Sogn, Hallvard Drægni, planted his first fruit trees here. Here, we wish to produce high-quality craft ciders and musts.
CIDER - Skjolden Sideri makes several types of apple cider, both dry and semi-dry, with and without flavorings such as berries. The selection may vary from year to year, but I will always have Aroma & Gravenstein, Aroma Rose and one cider based on the Discovery apple. Our ciders are made of 100% pure musts (no added water) from hand picked apples.
JUICE - Sydig God (Sinfully Good) apple juice is 100% must from apples. We make our apple juices from pure apple varieties.
SALE - We sell cider and apple juice from the farmshop.
Our showroom is located in the middle of the Garden of Eden. Please contact us if you wish to buy applejuice or cider. We accept groups/tastings by appointment.
