The special ambience of the collection of old farm buildings around a courtyard in an area of cultivated countryside nestling among high mountains, all combined with a high standard of comfort and style, makes Store Ringheim Hotell and Restaurant a very special place. We are located only 1,4 km from the center of Voss. Farmers have been working on the land of Store Ringheim for more than 2000 years and the arm has been in the family since 1778. We have converted the farm from a traditional Norwegian west coast farm into a unique hotel and restaurant. Today the old farm house and tool shed have 15 unique and comfortable hotel rooms with a modern "touch". In the old barn we have a reception with a small bar, Restaurant Flor'n, lounge, as well as rooms for parties and meetings/conferences. A stay at Store Ringheim is a wonderful starting point for both activity-seekers and cultural travelers, in an atmosphere characterized by calm and harmony. Here you live comfortably and are served authentic quality food - all with a welcoming and personal service. With us, every single guest should feel at home and we look forward to welcoming you for a memorabele stay at Store Ringheim. Boutique hotel

Store Ringheim is a small boutique hotel with 15 rooms situated in "Gardshuset", the old farm house and "Reiskapshuset", the old tool shed. In the old grey farmhouse from 1860 we have 6 historic and unique hotel rooms. Gardshuset is carefully restored and the rooms are comfortable with all the amenties expected to find in a modern hotel. We consider it to be far too unpersonal to have numbers on the doors – so we gave them names reflecting the previous use of the rooms. “Eldhuset” is our most special room and situated in the oldest part of the house from the 17th century. This historic room is an open-heart house with smoky walls, ornamental painted bed and a slate fire place – very romantic and Norwegian.

In Reiskapshuet, orginally the old tool shed from the 1980s, we have 9 modern and comfortable hotel rooms with a good size. The rooms are all beautifully decorated as the rest of the hotel, and they have all been named after the surrounding mountains here in Voss.

Through Store Ringheim Apartment, we have 5 self-catering apartments for rent. These are a supplement to our 15 hotel rooms at Store Ringheim. Villa Solberg in the center of Voss has 3 large apartments, and Villa Hjadlane just below Store Ringheim has 2 large apartments. These can be booked via a separate link on our homepage.

Restaurant Flor'n, with a taste of Voss

Flor'n, a modern a la carte restaurant with a special atmosphere in the old barn. Here we offer down-to-earth and rustic meals, made from the best of local produce. The menu, which changes frequently, reflects the range of fantastic local raw material and vary with the seasons. Open daily in the summer season and Wednesday to Saturday all year round. Farm food & sustainable food, from fields to table

We like to use good and fresh local ingredients for the breakfast and for the tasty meals served in the restaurant. At the farm we produce some ourselves. We process meat and make our own farm food, based on old traditional recipes and with our own twist. The rest we get as much as possible locally from poducers who deliver the good quality we want to have. Out in the nature we collect herbs, mushrooms and berries that we use in our food.

Function rooms for parties, meetings, courses & conferences

At Store Ringheim we have unique premises that offer the perfect space to celebrate various life events or good gatherings. The rooms various in size, suitable for everything from small intimate parties to larger events; Smalaflor'n, Restaurant Flor'n, Tømmerstovo and the terracce house out on the patio. You can rent the entire facility for your event.
