Welcome to Færøysund Handels og Gjestgjevarstad! We offer two old, free standing restored houses, at an old trading post. The house has high standard facilities and amenities, a motor boat, a fish gutting facilities and freezers are at the disposition of guests. The trading post lies very close to the sea, in quiet surroundings and beautiful nature with a diversity of plants and animals.

Færøysund is one of the old trading posts and inns with a history dating back to 1630. It is situated in the Fitjar municipaliry in Hordaland. At the moment we rent out to houses: "Gamlehuset" ("The Old House"), which accommodates 8 persons, and "Krambua" ("The General Store"), which can house up to 3 persons. Krambua is rented out through the tour operator "Novasol", and can be found under the code N 1820.
