Jelsa Hotel is beautifully located right in the center of Jelsa. Jelsa is an idyllic village with 270 permanent residents, and is located furthest south in Suldal municipality.

The hotel is open all year round for accommodation w / breakfast.

The restaurant is open for booked groups (10 people or more) throughout the year. We have 22 double rooms, most of them which have a balcony or outdoor space adjacent to the room.

The hotel also has a well-equipped, self-service kitchen at the disposal of overnight guests.

Meeting / Conferense room: We have 2 meeting rooms. One for until 30 pers and one for until.20 pers.

Restaurant: In our restaurant you can experience local specialties from neighbouring farms and the region in general, while also getting a fantastic view of the fjord and the beach town of Jelsa. The restaurant seats 64 guests On nice days you can enjoy food, drinks and fantastic views from our balcony.

Activities: There are beautiful marked hiking trails, beaches and fishing opportunities. Frisbee golf course, beach volleyball and football field by the school area, about 15min walking distance from the hotel. Jelsa have also an lovely church from 1647 and a school museum from 1774 which the hotel can organise guiding. There are also opportunities to visit Fuglestein fruit farm, where you can buy local food from several producers at Farmer Shop. We recommend a visit to Hebnes vingard, Here you can sign up for wine tasting in the summer season. At Jelsa you will find several marked hiking trails. Short, long, steep and easy. In 2022 we get a new “daytrip kabin”. It is accessible to everyone, even with a stroller and a wheelchair. Jelsa Hotell / Ryfylkemuseet offers rental of "audio-guide" for a walking trip with "Jelsapresten".
